Single Mothers and Microenterprise
This is Gladys. I met her at an orphanage in Kenya when she was just twelve years old. My time with her and the other children at Tumaini Children's Home was one of the special ways God spoke about starting All4Jesus. Recently, I found out Gladys was living in an abandoned hut with her two young children. Without employment, she was hopeless. But then God stepped in. We were able to coordinate with a local pastor to help Gladys move from her small rural town to Nairobi. Funds were provided to help her start up a small grocery shop. This allows her to care for her two year old son, Sam, while earning an income. Her older son, Milton, attends school during the day. Thanks to you, Gladys is on her way to an independent and successful life.
