Happy New Beginnings
Last fall, we shared the story of this sweet little guy and his sister being rescued from Swazi prison. Even though Pasture Valley only had room for one more child, they immediately took both children back to the farm. Almost one year later, they are doing fantastic.
Sam* is two years old. He is the smallest member of the Pasture Valley family and turns three this summer. When Sam* first came to Pasture Valley he was very afraid of people with light colored skin as he had not seen many such people before, and he would cry a lot. He was also very weak, malnourished, and covered in sores. But nine months later, after receiving lots of love and nutritious food, he is happy and gaining healthy weight.
*"Sam" was used to maintain privacy for the child.
